Based near Munich, Germany, senbarila GmbH specializes in training, consulting and engineering services in the design of barrier-free user interfaces for software products and websites for today's world market. "Barrier-free" means three things:
- usable (intuitive and easy to learn)
- accessible (open to all potential users, whatever their abilities or disabilities)
- internationalized (adaptable to different target user cultures)
senbarila is run by Dave Lewis, who after many years' experience in German/English software localization moved into international user interface design. He has held UI design courses in Germany, Austria, France, India and the USA, and is now tutor in usability at the newly founded University of Applied Languages in Munich.
