ToolBook is a widely used e-learning authoring tool made by SumTotal Systems. In fact, ToolBook won the 2007 Platinum Award from the eLearning Guild as the software learning system most used by large corporations. So when the ToolBook Translation System (TTS), a plug-in developed by Platte Canyon Multimedia Software Corporation, was introduced in 2006, it seemed to position ToolBook as the authoring tool for multilingual e-learning applications.
