SDL Trados consists of the formerly independent and now bundled translation memory (TM) products SDLX and Trados, meaning customers receive two products that were previously sold separately. SDLX features a modular architecture consisting of several key components: a TM database (Maintain), a terminology database (TermBase), a project wizard to set up new projects, an alignment tool (Align) and a single editor supporting a variety of file formats (Edit).
